What are the prerequisites to rent kitchen space?
Existing Business or LLC:
All Tenants Must hold a valid Business/LLC. We WILL NOT rent to any company that cannot provide a valid EIN number or Articles of Incorporation.
DBPR License:
All Tenants MUST hold a valid DBPR licence in the name of the renting company. CityChef can help you through the application and inspection process.
ServeSafe Manager Certificate:
At least 1 member of your team must hold a valid ServeSafe Manager certificate. All additional staff should have a valid food handler certificate.
Renter/Tenant Insurance:
All kitchen renters are required to have renters insurance. The insurance must name the kitchen, as well as the landlord as an “additionally insured” for the minimum sum of $1,000,000.00 each.
Security Deposit:
All Tenants must place a security deposit for kitchen rentals. The security deposit will be based on the rental period & amount of kitchen use.
